Angels have long been a source of intrigue and fascination for many people. Though some believe angels resemble the cute, fat “baby” Cupids that we associate with Valentine’s Day and romance, Dr. David Jeremiah shows us biblically what angels are, where they came from, what they do and how they work.
I hadn’t ever wondered about when angels were created until I read this book. Dr. Jeremiah writes that some creation scientists believe the theory that angels were most likely created on the second day (based on Psalm 104). Interesting! I did like the fact that this book issues warnings against elevating angels above Christ. We are not to worship angels or pray to them and Dr. Jeremiah advises his readers to “steer clear of modern make-believe about angels, and trust only the Bible’s perspective.” This book also gives Biblical teaching on Satan, fallen angels and demons, as well as spiritual warfare.
