Cafe Lily's Review:
This book is an excellent balance of natural, practical and spiritual advice. I really liked that Sheri included interesting recipes, along with scriptures and points to meditate on. This isn't a "how to" in weight loss, nor is it about counting calories, exercise or dieting per say. It is more about keeping our focus on God and taking control of natural cravings, while satisfying the cravings of our soul. Each chapter addresses a particular craving such as sweet, salty, spicy, rich, and so on. Each chapter also includes a Power up with Prayer devotion and New Life Recipes. The book is easy to read and conversational in tone - it felt like sitting down with an old friend over coffee.
