CAFE LILY'S REVIEW:
This story focuses on the Great Chicago Fire and one woman's resolve to get back on her feet after her business is destroyed. Mollie Knox is a very inspiring character. She faces many hardships and challenges, including a family secret she stumbles upon. In the midst of pulling her business back together, Mollie finds herself in an unexpected romance.
You'll have to read the book for yourself to find out more - but be prepared for a fast pace, whirlwind of a read!
I especially enjoyed reading the author's historical note in the back of the book, on how the fire actually started and other interesting facts.
